Doula care that travels to you.

Distance doesn’t have to mean going without the support you want. Travel Doula Care combines virtual pregnancy support with in-person labor, birth, and immediate postpartum care, followed by continued support after I return home.

We’ll begin your care virtually, giving us time to build a relationship, prepare for your birth, and support you throughout your pregnancy before I travel to you.

Your care includes 2 virtual pregnancy support visits per trimester

Our time together may include:

  • Emotional support and check-ins

  • Birth preferences & preparation

  • Labor positions, movement & comfort measures

  • Breathing, massage & counter-pressure techniques

  • Partner preparation

  • Preparing for your birth setting

  • Herbal & natural wellness recommendations when appropriate

  • Postpartum & newborn preparation

We’ll also establish a communication and travel plan before your on-call period begins.

I’ll be on call for your birth beginning at 36 weeks.

Both bears are wearing pink headbands with bows, and the standing bear has a pink jacket with a tree emblem. To their right, there is a pink exercise ball. Overlapping the ball is a decorative text that reads 'Labor of Love and Support' in stylized pink and brown font, with a small heart at the end.

When it’s time, I’ll travel to you and provide continuous in-person support throughout labor and birth.

Support may include:

  • Massage & counter-pressure

  • Positioning and movement

  • Breathing & relaxation

  • Comfort measures

  • Emotional support & reassurance

  • Help understanding your options

  • Support communicating your preferences

  • Partner guidance & support

I work alongside your birth team while remaining focused on you. Doula care is non-medical and does not replace your physician, midwife, nurse, or other healthcare provider.

Immediate Postpartum Care

I stay with you after baby is born to help you both get comfortable and settled.

This may include:

  • Helping you get cleaned up and comfortable

  • Getting you and baby settled

  • Supporting the first latch or feeding, if needed

  • Making sure you have food and something to drink

  • Supporting skin-to-skin and bonding

  • Helping your partner get settled

  • Making sure your immediate needs are taken care of before I leave

Postpartum Care

I remain in your area for 3 days after birth, including at least one in-home postpartum visit before I travel home.

We’ll check in on how you’re feeling physically and emotionally, your recovery, feeding, newborn care, rest, and anything else that has come up since birth.

After I return home, your care continues with 3 weekly virtual postpartum visits.
